Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus is a standalone addition to last year's award winning stealth action title of the same name. Focusing on a portable multiplayer experience, players will be able to enjoy more maps, more missions, and recruit a talented crew of war heroes for battling real opponents in online arenas.

Customer Rating: Summary: BEST CHRISTMAS YET Comment: This was an awesome gift to my youngest son for Christmas. He can't put it down.
Customer Rating: Summary: Annoying Comment: The game had no story at all which was kind of disappointing but not a huge deal. The only thing you do is go around and capture enemy soldiers and slowly drag them around with the goal of getting them to join your side.
There are only a handful of missions and within each mission are a bunch of stages. You can only save (unless I'm missing something here) when you completely finish a mission (some missions have up to 20 stages). The biggest problem I had with the game was that it could take hours to finish a mission and if you want to use the PSP to do something else, like use the internet, watch a movie, etc. or if you want to take a break and do something else with your day you're out of luck. If you get tired of playing and you don't want lose everything that you've done up to that point in the mission you have to put the PSP in sleep mode. Just now, for instance, I was in the last stage of a mission and wanted to take a break and watch a movie on the PSP. So I pushed start, selected "Return to Briefing" and lost everything (all of the soldiers I had recruited and all of the items I had picked up). I obviously wouldn't have aborted the mission if I had known this would happen but I was tired of playing the game, you know? Well, there went hours of progress. I'm so annoyed I doubt I'll play this game again any time soon (if ever again).
If it wasn't for this, if you could save mid-mission, then I'd give this game 4 stars (5 stars if this game had a story). It's a pretty fun game other than this.
Customer Rating: Summary: Elite soldier here. Comment: Oh man I love this game, I play it all night long working 11-7. I found two soldiers that are 400 life & 800 stamina. they are Tengu soldiers. Yea...
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the best PSP games Comment: This is one of the best PSP games out. I play it all the time. The online mode is really fun too. The weapons and characters in this game make it all the more fun, although it would be nice to own the first game because it gives you more freedom in online modes as well as different aspects of the game. It is an all around great game, and a definant must buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: No Story line not like a MGS game. Comment: i ordered this game and ended up being very angry after i found out that i accidentally ordered the plus version which did not have a story line which is the biggest part of the Metal Gear series. I sent the game back because i was not happy
